Sportingo

Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Sportingo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.

2. What Sportingo is

Sportingo connects athletes with the coaches they already train with, starting with cricket. You join a coach through their link or code, not through a public directory; Sportingo is not a marketplace for finding coaches. Once joined, you can request and pay for sessions. During a session the coach can keep notes, photos and voice notes in the app; afterwards they can score the session and share a report with goals, which the athlete can follow on their Progress tab, rate privately, and book again from. Sessions take place in person, between you and your coach. Sportingo is built and run by Sparkstream Technologies LLP ("Sparkstream").

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 or older to have an account. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code, or with Google or Apple. An athlete under 18 is added by a parent or lawful guardian, who gives the consents the app asks for and is responsible for the athlete's use of Sportingo.

Keep your phone and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

4. Bookings and payments

The coach sets the price. You send a booking request; once the coach accepts, you pay in the app to confirm it, within the time shown (an unpaid request lapses and the time is freed). Payments run through Razorpay; Sportingo never receives or stores your card, UPI or bank details. Amounts are in Indian Rupees.

Where a platform fee and GST on it apply, they are shown separately, with the total, before you pay.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can withdraw a request that has not been paid for. Once a session is paid, the coach can refund it in full from the app; the money goes back to your original payment method through Razorpay, and the time is freed. A payment that reaches us after a request has lapsed is refunded automatically. If something about a payment looks wrong, write to support and we will look into it.

6. Session records, reports and AI drafts

Notes, photos and voice notes a coach records stay private to the coach until they choose to show an item to the athlete. Scores and reports are the coach's own assessment. A coach can ask for an AI draft of a report; the coach checks and edits it, and is responsible for what they approve and share. A report is shared only with the athlete, their guardian and the coach. Do not record or upload anything you do not have the right to share, and only record an athlete with their consent or, for an athlete under 18, their guardian's.

7. Ratings

An athlete or guardian can rate a completed session. Ratings are private: the coach only sees a weekly summary once several athletes have rated, never who wrote what. Keep ratings honest and respectful.

8. User conduct

Do not use Sportingo to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, to misrepresent who you are or your qualifications, for anything unlawful, or to take a booking or payment outside the app to avoid its fees or records. A coach is responsible for the accuracy of the services, prices and hours they list.

9. Your data

How we collect, use and keep your personal data, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, are set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can delete your account at any time: Delete your account.

10. Limitation of liability

Sportingo connects coaches and athletes; it does not employ coaches or supervise sessions. To the extent Indian law allows, Sparkstream is not liable for the conduct of a coach or athlete, for an injury during a session, or for a dispute between a coach and an athlete beyond the booking and payment Sportingo handles.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sparkstream against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the app.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The new version is posted here with a new date; using Sportingo after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Sportingo.

14. Contact
